Will I be able to come in and view units at the East Vancouver / Burnaby storage location?

Absolutely! It’s never a good idea to rent a unit without viewing it first. At NationWide, we always show you the exact unit you are renting or your first month is FREE. We encourage you to call and set up a tour – even if you just want to look!

Does NationWide provide moving and packing supplies?

We do have packing and moving products. We have everything from tape, to boxes of all sizes, to mattress covers and more. For our tenants, we offer 25% off all moving supplies! Come in to our East Vancouver /Burnaby storage location and find what you need for packing up your things.

How long is the rental process at the Burnaby / East Vancouver storage facility?

We know you’re busy, so we will do everything in our power to make your rental process as efficient as possible. On average, the rental process takes 10-15 minutes; however, this will vary from client to client.

Is NationWide considered a mini storage facility?

A mini storage facility typically offers only small-scale storage units. Our East Vancouver / Burnaby storage facility offer a wider range of unit sizes. From smaller sky lockers – like a mini storage unit – to larger 10×25 units, we are happy to offer more variety to our customers.

Do I have to pay access fees to enter my unit?

No, during access hours, you can access your unit as often as you’d like without additional fees or charges. To ensure you can access your belongings whenever you need, we are open 365 days a year from 6am to 10pm at our Burnaby / East Vancouver storage location.

Can I reserve a storage locker before coming in?

Absolutely! If you know the storage locker size you want, you can reserve it online for FREE. Your reservation will be held for up to 7 days. Once reserved, to honor reservations, we need to ensure you are human. Please respond by phone or email within 48 hours. Only confirmed reservations can be guaranteed. No payment required until you move in. Pay for it when you come in on your move in date. Once we receive your request, one of our Storage Experts will contact you to confirm all the details and make sure you’re all set for a stress free move. What do I need to rent a storage unit with NationWide Boundary?

For any storage rental, a valid form of Government picture ID is required along with a secondary form of identification, such as a bill within the last 90 days. A current credit card or debit card is required for payment – sorry no cash accepted at this location.

Absolutely exceptional customer service from Lynn and Shari! We came in today to look at a unit after having yet another high rental increase at our old storage facility and were floored by the amazing service we received. It's 1000 times better than where we were renting (Maple Leaf). Nationwide's app allows for a more secure and convenient way to access amd monitor your unit, and the access hours are longer too. Best of all the rental fee is substantially lower (and for a larger unit), plus they had an amazing promo. Can't say enough good things about our experience today. They had an incident at another location thus finding out they had no insurance to store vehicles indoors. They gave everyone 6 days notice to remove them. Some people don't have safe places to store their vehicles (thus why renting from them), their solution was go park your motorcycle on the street where it can get vandalized, stolen or hit by a vehicle and written off by ICBC. Nationwide stated they have outdoor cameras, great you can watch the criminals steal your motorcycle and wave at it while leaving. They don't understand sitting out in the rain is not the best for them & bikes will get written off from a simple scratch on the frame. Also the setup of the main floor is the worst ever. You have a long line up for the car wash blocking the entry/exit points to where you load/unload your vehicle to access your lockers. Plus they put the metal poles in the way to protect the doors but they are immediately in the way of where you back your vehicles up to, the worst floor plan they ever could have. I had only rented my locker for 1.5 months before this happened, zero reimbursements of the extra costs I incurred due to them and their incompetence Plus the time to go out and find a new storage facility that would allow motorcycles (they are slim). They said my stuff could stay without my motorcycle, the reason I got the locker was due to the motorcycle and im not renting 2 separate storage lockers at 2 different locations (its great they are rich). Get a grip

If you’re looking for storage space, look no further than Nation Wide Self Storage. Deb, the office manager, will not only make you feel welcome, but will be happy to show you the facility, which is exceptionally clean, brightly lit and orderly managed. She took time to clearly explain all the contract details and was patient with me, helping me to download the access codes (I’m not very tech savvy!). The location is centrally located and easily accessible. The monthly rental rates are probably the best in town. I was most impressed with Deb’s friendliness and the pride she took in running a first-class facility. A car wash in located in the same complex as the storage facility – Deb even threw in a complimentary car was – what a champ!

Very friendly and helpful staff. My 5x7.5 stall had a building beam going through the back of it, taking up some space and the staff offered a discount without my asking (it did not end up inhibiting what I needed to store). Multiple indoor parking spaces and large flat-bed rolling carts to use for unloading and transferring to the large padded elevator and upper floors. Very clear instructions on safety and move-out. Got a great summer deal of 1st month free and 3 months 50% off! Only downfall is the unloading area is also a car wash zone and it is very loud.

Convenient location. I like the fact they gave me. Some car washes when I signed up. They said the 1st month was free. And now I get a call for them saying that I owe them a payment... Pretty dumb on their end... Then they make you download an app to access your storage locker... Not every time but almost every time I go, the app doesn't work. I've gotta restart my phone restart my Bluetooth, etc. Until I can get in very inconvenient. I'll definitely be getting my stuff out of there. As soon as this three month contract is over.

This is a whole new way of renting a storage space. Shari who helped me on the phone helped me figure out exactly what I needed, and when I got to the location Lisa showed me the space and did the “paperwork” (which is all electronic now). Super friendly and helpful staff when I called for a quote, when we went for a tour, and when we signed up. They helped us work out a delayed rental to save a few dollars. The building is clean, well lit and well laid out and the carts and stairs are easily accessible. The access technology is amazing. (I just hope it doesn't go 'down' like websites and apps are prone to do.) We chose this company/location due to the reasonable monthly price on their SkyLockers, along with the various welcome offers. [Note that a mandatory minimum $10/mth insurance and one time $20 admin fee wasn't advertised - admittedly it seems to be industry standard and I guess since I didn't specifically ask, I wasn't told.]

Recently wanted to clear some of the stuffs at home so we when online and found this self storage online. They have all the measurements of the storage unit, but it was bit hard to visualize so we when in to check it out…

The heights to entry ways are short in this building, including the sliding doors from the parking lot. Also the storage locker door heights are short, but are taller once you get through the roller door and bulk head. Tall items (over 7’) need some manipulation. The elevator door heights are fine.

I like the convenient location where there is undercover parking with huge parking spots, car wash (varying from $11-$25), and storage lockers that are temperature controlled, feel safe and clean.

I had a great experience today at NationWide Self Storage Boundary. Salmin helped me get set up with a storage locker. Everything was very easy and quick to set up. The Noke app was very simple to use. The car wash is excellent as well. Great service!

What a great spot! It is in a convenient location and yet the entrance is not on a busy street making it easier to enter. Friendly staff guide you through the car wash process. My truck is tall and wide but I had no problem entering or driving through. I found new go-to car wash, I highly recommend.
