The minimum stay is 1 month. After the first month your stay is month to month. You can rent for a shorter period; however, we do not offer prorated pricing.

Which storage locker size is right for me?

To choose amongst our many storage units, use our handy online storage calculator or consult one of our storage experts at our Vancouver storage location. Many of our clients find our storage calculator extremely helpful when they are looking for storage options or even find they may need to upgrade their storage units.

Will I be able to view my storage unit before renting in Vancouver, BC?

Absolutely! It’s never a good idea to rent a unit without viewing it first. At NationWide, we will always show you the exact unit you are renting or your first month is FREE.

Does NationWide provide moving and packing supplies?

We do have packing and moving products. We have everything from tape, to boxes of all sizes, to mattress covers and more. Plus when you rent with us we offer 25% off all moving supplies. Come in to our Vancouver storage facility and find what you need for packing up your things.

How long is the rental process?

We know you’re busy, so we will do everything in our power to make your rental process as efficient as possible. On average, the rental process takes 10-15 minutes; however, this will vary from client to client.

Is NationWide considered a mini storage facility?

A mini storage facility typically offers only small-scale storage units. Our facilities offer a wider range of unit sizes. From smaller sky lockers – like a mini storage unit – to larger 10×25 units, we are happy to offer more variety to our customers.

Do I have to pay access fees to enter my unit in the Vancouver storage?

No, during access hours, you can access your unit as often as you’d like without additional fees or charges. To ensure you can access your belongings whenever you need, we are open 365 days a year from 6am to 10pm.

Can I reserve a storage locker before come to the Vancouver facility?

Absolutely! If you know the storage locker size you want, you can reserve it online for FREE for up to 7 days. Once reserved, to honor reservations, we need to ensure you are human. Please respond by phone or email within 48 hours. Only confirmed reservations can be guaranteed. No payment required until you move in. Pay for it when you come in on your move in date. Once we receive your request, one of our Storage Experts will contact you to confirm all the details and make sure you’re all set for a stress free move. What do I need to rent a storage unit?

For any storage rental, a valid form of Government picture ID is required along with a secondary form of identification, such as a bill within the last 90 days. A current credit card is required for payment – sorry no cash accepted at this location.

How do I get the current deals or promos?

Any deals and promos currently featured on the site are for new tenants only. To get your deal, go the reservation page and reserve your unit online. Any deals on the reserved locker will be applied once your rental starts. Alternatively you can come in to the rental office and speak to one of our Storage Experts.

Simren was so helpful went above and beyond, stayed late just to make sure everything was set up so that i could move by a critical dead line. There were many obstacles that popped up on my end, and she helped me trouble shoot them with a smile and cheerful attitude. This experience had the potential to be stressful to the point of tears but Simren kept her cool and were all out of here at closing time with big smiles on our faces and sore cheeks from laughing! Couldn’t recommend a more helpful storage place. And I got a smoking deal too! Only thing is they don’t accept cash!! Keep that in mind when you’re coming to register 🤗

NWS - Hands down the best storage facilities in the lower mainland. Sunny did my initial intake during a stressful move, and his coworkers assisted in making sure all was tickety-boo! It’s been almost a month and Sunny and staff have been so helpful as I forget ‘this, that and the other.’ They’re like the cousins I’ve always wanted 😊

Super clean, easy to access, and very customer-focused policies! Not predatory one bit.
Gary was great during the sign-up and onboarding process. Gave a tour of the facility, and showed us an even better unit and deal than the one we had originally planned for. He explained the contract clearly, and was very open, once again, about the very fair use and termination policies, pay structure, and the relatively competitive pricing.

Came here to open my first storage locker, I expected it to be a hassle and have it be a long experience. HOWEVER I had an incredible time here. The staff was SUPER helpful, they were funny and engaging, showed us around as well. Shoutouts to the staff Gary, Lucky and AK as they were a huge help and earned the 5 star rating. The pricing here is super affordable, and with the promo right now giving us 1 month free and a second half off is a no brainer decision.

Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a storage locker to go here. Very spacious rooms for purchase, I fit all of my boxes with no problem and still have tons of room for more.

I leased a Skylocker yesterday, and they are the best value for money I could find anywhere around Vancouver if you only need a small space and are happy to lift your stuff up some stairs.
The customer service was great with Simer showing me the locker and how the facility operates first to make sure I was happy with everything.
Then she was very efficient and knowledgeable on the rental and setup process.
I would recommend to anyone who needs storage in Vancouver.

We went to this place a bit backward as we read a couple of things about stuck locks, clients being locked up, bugs, etc and the fact that it's not in the best neighbourhood. We came up shortly before closing time but Simer happily got us visiting. We found the place quite clean and safe, as well as very practical with cell phone access and easy loading/unloading from the parking/dock. Simer got us sorted with all the paperwork and digital access.

Stored some things here short-term while moving. Sunny helped me find a unit that fit my needs and get me signed up on the same day I was moving, and I could get my things in later that day. So when I moved stuff in little over year ago, staff were great, super helpful no issues. About 6 months in noticed bugs..... in the washroom at first. Then I saw them in my belongings... I didn't not have these things in my stuff when I brought it here. Brought it to the staff's attention, traps were put down. Not much else. The problem obviously is still present and I see them all over the facility. Nothing has been done.
They have brought in a lot of people that care not for anyone else, along with the staff as the facility has bugs, washing hands apon leaving it is a must, can't really do that when some of the clients have locked themselves in the washroom over night.

I have been locked out without warning multiple times over the time I have been there, or walked into huge messes over the parking lot and the front doors to the elevator. When they state 24 hour access, yes, but you have to pay more for it...
Advise stay away from this facility as you will just get a headache, the price is also almost double what others charge, I never got a promotion deal so keep an eye on that if you do choose to store here. There's also a huge flaw to there system and the lockers are pretty simple to open without the app or you're phone.

The customer service at this facility is amazing. Simer helped inform me of all the different storage options. She was very thorough in her explanation. She then took me on a short tour to view the facility. The facility is amazingly clean. Overall my experience was great and would recommend this storage unit. After my 6 month contract was up, I moved to a smaller unit. Again, Simer and staff made the transfer so easy. They also know how to have fun. They have decorated for Halloween, it looks amazing!

NationWide Self Storage is an amazing facility with incredibly patient staff. Gary and Courtney were exceptionally insightful and helpful on every interaction. As a non profit, they have been generous and understanding of our many needs.
The 4 out of 5 is based on the fact that the app is sometimes a little difficult to use. Also that there is no link to down load the phone app on the website and it takes awhile to find it which can be frustrating.

This review is not current as my storage rental ended by Mar 1, 2022. However it is still relevant. Last summer I found I was going to need storage quickly due to changes with my housing situation. Money was tight and options were not pleasing. I contacted quite a few self storage locations but was hesitate to commit. I made a tentative appointment with Nationwide on East Pender as it was new and convenient to my home. Once I spoke in person to Faydra, I knew I had found the right place. She was was not only knowledgeable, but helpful and empathic. The units are wonderfully clean, the security system excellent, the service from her and her staff always positive and the prices were fair. My 4 months turned into 7 and the experience has convinced me that short term or long term storage is well worth it if implemented by Faydra and her staff.

At our organization, multiple staff need frequent access to our unit, and the app access to the building and unit is way more convenient than navigating physical keys.

The main office has a water cooler and sells a variety of useful packing supplies. Truly the nicest storage unit I've ever experienced, and after storing here, I will not go anywhere else for personal or professional use.
